The city of Melrose has partnered with Got Books to place a drop-off donation and reuse container for residents, businesses, schools, libraries, and other groups looking to contribute books they no longer have a use for. The bin will also accept CDs, DVDs, records and audio books.
The Got Books donation container is located at the Public Works Operation Facility, known as the Melrose City Yard, at 72 Tremont Street and is open to all residents of Melrose. The bin is available year-round on Monday through Friday at 7:30am to 2:45pm. The City Yard is also open seasonally on weekends during the dates and times listed at www.cityofmelrose.org.
