Want to get rid of your used books? The Fairhaven Board of Health is now accepting new and used books, CDs, DVDs, records, records and audio books in a donation container at the Board of Public Works building. The town has placed the drop-off container for area residents who wish to contribute new and gently used books they no longer have a use for and would like to see repurposed. The Board of Health will also be compensated on an ongoing basis for all items collected in the donation container.
The gray book donation container, distinguished by its purple and yellow ‘Got Books?’ signs, is accessibly located outside of the BPW building at 5 Arsene Street in Fairhaven. Books and other items can be deposited in the container by anyone at anytime.
