Got Books Raises Money for Academy for Science and Design

Want to get rid of your used books? Merrimack’s Academy for Science and Design is raising money through donations of new and used books, CDs, DVDs, records and audio books. The group has recently placed two drop-off donation containers to collect these items from community members who’d like to repurpose their used goods while also helping the school raise money. The group will be paid on an ongoing basis for all items collected in their donation containers.
The gray book donation containers, distinguished by purple and yellow ‘Got Books?’ signs, are located in the parking lot of the Mobil station at 140 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack and at Monro Muffler and Brake at 250 Lowell Road, Hudson. This program is an ongoing fundraiser and donations can be made by the public at any time. All funds raised through the collection of these donations will benefit the general funding of the academy.
