Got Books Raises Money for Acton’s Kids Kount Foundation

Want to get rid of your used books? Acton’s Kids Kount Foundation is raising money through donations of new and used books, CDs, DVDs, records and audio books. The group has recently placed two drop-off donation containers to collect these items from community members who’d like to repurpose their used goods while also helping the foundation raise money. The group will be paid on an ongoing basis for all items collected in their donation containers.
The gray book donation containers, distinguished by their purple and yellow ‘Got Books?’ signs, are located in the parking lots of Gould Plaza at 260 Great Road, Acton and Baker-Whitney Oil Company at 432 Massachusetts Ave, Acton. This program is an ongoing fundraiser and donations can be made by the public at any time. All funds raised through the collection of these donations will benefit the general funding of Kids Kount Foundation.
