Got Books Raises Money for Bedford’s BEST/PTO

Want to get rid of your used books? Bedford’s BEST/PTO (Bedford Elementary Schools Together/Parent Teacher Organization) is raising money through donations of new and used books, CDs, DVDs, records and audio books. The group has recently placed a drop-off donation container to collect these items from community members who’d like to repurpose their used goods while also helping BEST/PTO raise money. The group will be paid on an ongoing basis for all items collected in their donation container.
The mission of the BEST/PTO is to provide support, communication and enrichment to the students, families and school staff at both the Davis School (K – Grade 2) and the Lane School (Grades 3 – 5). The PTO is very active in raising funds for classroom and teacher grants, enrichment programs and physical improvements to the schools.
The gray book donation container, distinguished by its purple and yellow ‘Got Books?’ signs, is located in the parking lot of the Davis Elementary School at 410 Davis Road, Bedford. This program is an ongoing fundraiser and donations can be made by the public at any time. All funds raised through the collection of these donations will benefit the general funding of the BEST/PTO.
