Got Books Raises Money for Bellingham’s South Elementary School PTO
70 Harpin Street, Bellingham, MA 02019Map Location |
Want to get rid of your used books? The Parent-Teacher Organization of Bellingham’s South Elementary School is raising money through donations of new and used books, CDs, DVDs, records and audio books. The group has recently placed a drop-off donation container to collect these items from community members who’d like to repurpose their used goods while also helping the PTO raise money. The group will be paid on an ongoing basis for all items collected in their donation container.
The PTO provides funding and support for a wide range of activities: special cultural and educational events at the school, field trips and buses, and funding for teachers’ special requests. The PTO is always looking for new ideas and volunteers.
The gray book donation container, distinguished by its purple and yellow ‘Got Books?’ signs, is located in the parking lot of the elementary school at 70 Harpin Street in Bellingham. This program is an ongoing fundraiser and donations can be made by the public at any time. All funds raised through the collection of these donations will benefit the general funding of the PTO.
