Want to get rid of your used books? The Brockton Church & Community After School program, located at Central United Methodist Church, Brockton, is raising money through donations of new and used books, CDs, DVDs, records, records and audio books. The group has recently placed a drop-off donation container to collect these items from community members who’d like to repurpose their used goods while also helping the after school program raise money. The group will be paid on an ongoing basis for all items collected in their donation container.

The gray book donation container, distinguished by its purple and yellow ‘Got Books?’ signs, is located in the parking lot of the church at 65 West Elm Street in Brockton. This program is an ongoing fundraiser and donations can be made by the public at any time. All funds raised through the collection of these donated items will benefit the general budget of the After School Program, which provides free homework assistance to students from the Arnone Elementary School.  A portion of the proceeds will be shared with the Unitarian Church of Brockton, the program’s “Got Books?” partner.
