Got Books Raises Money for Topsfield Educational Foundation
|
Want to get rid of your used books? The Topsfield Educational Foundation is raising money through donations of new and used books, CDs, DVDs, records, and audio books. The group has recently placed a drop-off donation container to collect these items from community members who’d like to repurpose their used goods while also helping the group raise money. The group will be paid on an ongoing basis for all items collected in their donation container.
The gray book donation container, distinguished by its purple and yellow “Got Books?” signs, is located outside the gates of the Topsfield DPW at 279 Boston Street. This program is an ongoing fundraiser and donations can be made by the public at any time. All funds raised through the collection of these donations will benefit the Educational Foundation.
The Topsfield Education Foundation is a nonprofit group founded to help facilitate the best educational experience possible for the two Topsfield elementary schools. TEF’s funding has helped provide science and technology programs, teacher training, materials, the Techsploration Program, Lego robotic teams, financial support for the Proctor School Band, and more.
