Looking to get rid of your used books? The Marion Transfer Station is now accepting new and used books, CDs, DVDs, records, and audio books in a drop-off donation container. The district has placed the drop-off container for regional residents, who wish to give new and gently used books they no longer need and would like to see repurposed.
The gray book donation container, distinguished by its purple and yellow ‘Got Books?’ signs, is located at the transfer station at the end of Benson Brook Road (off Rt. 6) in Marion. Books can be deposited in the container by residents of Marion, Carver, Wareham, and Rochester every Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00am-4:00pm and Sunday from 9:00am-1:00pm.
